DASON member hospitals learn from each other. Experiences of success at one member hospital can be useful when shared with other member hospitals dealing with similar challenges.
DASON conducts regular surveys of member hospitals to provide descriptions of network-wide stewardship activities. These summaries help member hospitals compare their program elements and successes among their peer group. In addition to regular benchmarked data, this information helps drive program development, creates a better perspective, and informs annual program assessments. All of this content is available on the DASON members-only section of this website.
In addition, DASON liaison pharmacists and physicians have a wealth of experience assisting hospitals in developing stewardship programs. Our research continually aims to seek new ways to improve patient safety through investigations at the forefront of the field. Member institutions have access to useful summary documents that help translate our research into actionable stewardship interventions.
